Still Not Black Enough
Pop n Foodie
Still Not Black Enough follows a coffee drinker's search for a darker, stronger and more bitter cup.
Lyrics
Drip drop
Hear it go (oo-yeah)
Steam's risin'
Put on a show
First cup? Nah
Too light
Too weak
Give me that roast that makes me speak
Oh
Grind it fine
Grind it slow
Pour it hot
Let it flow
Still too pale
Oh no
No
No
Still not black enough (uh-huh)
Still not smack enough (oo-yeah)
Bitter bite
Gimme that rush
But it's still not black enough
French press
Aeropress
Moka pot thrill
Double shot espresso
But I need more skill
I want it bold
I want it mean
Darker than the night
If you know what I mean (oh, you know)
Oh
Grind it fine
Grind it slow
Pour it hot
Let it flow
Still too pale
Oh no
No
No
Still not black enough (uh-huh)
Still not smack enough (oo-yeah)
Bitter bite
Gimme that rush
But it's still not black enough
Turn it darker
Turn it up
Push the bitter
Fill the cup
Still not black enough (uh-huh)
Still not smack enough (oo-yeah)
Bitter bite
Gimme that rush
But it's still not black enough
Still not black enough (uh-huh)
Still not smack enough (oo-yeah)
Bitter bite
Gimme that rush
But it's still not black enough
