Perfect Avocado
Pop n Foodie
Perfect Avocado follows a shopper searching the produce aisle for an avocado with just the right ripeness.
Lyrics
Neon signs hum the street alive
My basket's empty but my heart's on fire
Stacks of green mountains catching my eye
Whispering softly
Come closer,try
One squeeze too hard it breaks the dream
Too firm and it's not what it seems
But this one—oh
This one gleams
You're the perfect avocado
Soft but strong in your bravado
That green light I wanna follow
Ooh
I found the one
Ooh
I found the one
I'm dodging elbows
Weaving through carts
A treasure hunt lit by my beating heart
Under fluorescent stars
You shine so bright
A miracle wrapped in market light
Not too ripe and not too raw
You fit my hand like a perfect flaw
My world tilts, drop the jaw
You're the perfect avocado
Soft but strong in your bravado
That green light I wanna follow
Ooh
I found the one
Ooh
I found the one
What if I waited too long
What if you're gone when I turn
All of these chances I've lost
This time I'm taking my turn
Hold my breath
Don't let go
Heartbeat racing soft and slow
Every second says I know
You're the perfect avocado
Soft but strong in your bravado
That green light I want to follow
Ooh
I found the one
Ooh
I found the one
You're the perfect avocado
Soft but strong in your bravado
That green light I wanna follow
Ooh
I found the one
Ooh
I found the one
Ooh
Don't let me lose you
Ooh
I choose you
